"Lovely staff, even when it’s busy"
I pop into Caffè Nero every so often, and the staff have always been really friendly. Even when there’s a rush on, they still manage to say hello and make the place feel welcoming, which I appreciate.

The queue can be a bit slow at times, but it’s not a big deal for me. The people working there are lovely, so I’m happy to be a little patient

"A surprisingly decent little coffee stop"
I popped in for a coffee expecting the usual chaos of a busy place, but it was kind of a relief. The tables were actually wiped down, the floor wasn’t a disaster zone, and the whole shop felt clean despite the rush. The toilets could’ve used a bit more attention, so that was the one small plot twist, but overall it was a good visit.

"Pretty good most of the time"
I usually end up liking the food at Caffe Nero, especially the toasties and the cakes. It generally tastes fresh to me and doesn’t feel too heavy, though I guess it can depend a bit on the day. I did have one sandwich that was a little dry once, but overall I’d say it’s a solid option if you just want a quick bite.

"Not the best fit for my dietary needs"
I stopped in last week hoping I’d be able to find a decent mix of dairy-free and gluten-free options, but I left disappointed. After looking around for a while, the choices felt really limited, and when I asked the staff, they didn’t seem totally sure what would work either. I’d probably check ahead next time before making the trip.

I was relieved that the site was easy enough to figure out and everything worked fine. I did get a little impatient waiting for the menu to load, though. Not a huge deal, but it would feel a lot smoother if that part was faster

"Fresh, smooth coffee I’d get again"
I grabbed a coffee and was happy with it from the first sip. It tasted fresh and smooth, without that burnt or overly bitter flavour you sometimes get.
It still had a nice strong coffee taste, and it held up well even after I added milk. It’s a simple thing, but a good coffee makes a difference, and I’d definitely order it again...

"Pretty straightforward pricing"
I liked that the prices were right there before I ordered, so I didn’t have to guess what I was getting into. I added a couple extras and the total still matched what I thought it would be, which somehow makes the coffee feel better too. Ordering online is just less annoying when there aren’t random surprise charges at the end.

I had a small issue with my account, so I emailed support not really expecting much right away. But they replied quick, like quick quick, and fixed it without turning it into a whole big deal. i was happy with how smooth it all was.

"I do like Caffe Nero, but..."
I do like Caffe Nero, but the drinks just never seem to taste the same. I can order the exact same coffee and one day it’s nice and strong, the next it’s watery, and sometimes it’s barely warm. It gets a bit annoying paying the same price when you don’t really know what you’re going to get, if that makes sense.

I was a little unsure at first because the app lagged for a second, but thankfully the payment went through quickly. I just had to tap once more to confirm, so overall it worked out fine.

"Absolutely the best little spot to sit for a while"
I love sitting in Caffe Nero. The atmosphere is just spot on, cosy, calm, and somehow not too noisy even when it’s clearly busy. The lighting is nice, the seats are comfy, and it’s absolutely the kind of place where you can chill, read, or just sit there pretending you have your life together. The staff always seem relaxed too, which 100% makes the whole place feel easier and more welcoming. No question, it’s way better than just grabbing a coffee and rushing off.

I had a bad order and sent a complaint through caffenero.com. I got one generic reply that sounded like it came straight from a customer service script, then nothing after that. No refund, no proper apology, no actual help. I’m always wary of that polished company language when there’s no real action behind it, and this felt exactly like that. Just seemed like they wanted me to give up and go away.

I use caffenero.com often and, i usually manage to find what I’m after. Coffee, snacks, gift cards etc are easy enough to spot, and I haven’t really had that annoying “out of stock” thing happen much. The site’s simple, maybe not fancy, but it does the job fine for me so no real complants.

I’ve found most Caffè Nero spots straightforward to get into, especially the ones in town centres. When I’m out with my pushchair, the doors are usually wide enough for me, and staff have given me a hand if things felt a bit tight.
Some of the older branches do feel a bit cramped for my liking when they’re busy, and I’ve had to squeeze between tables a few times. But compared with a lot of other coffee places, I usually have an easier time here, so it’s 4 stars from me.

I order from Caffe Nero often for the price, it usually feels worth it. The drinks taste good, the rewards help a little, and I don’t feel like I’m being overcharged like I do at some other places. If anything ever feels a bit off, I think it’s more bad timing than anything else, like ordering when they’re slammed or right in the middle of a rush.
